Purdue carried its recent hot shooting into Ann Arbor for a match-up with the No. 2 ranked Wolverines but it wasn’t enough. The Boilermakers hit five of their first seven three point attempts and led throughout most of the first half. Despite shooting 54% on triples in the first half, Purdue led by just one point at the break and would regress toward the mean in the second.

The Boilermakers missed all nine three point attempt in the second half as the Wolverines pulled away for a routine 15 point victory. Four Wolverines reached double figures with Trey Burke, Tim Hardaway Jr., Glenn Robinson III and Nik Stauskas scoring between 12 and 15 points.
