Elsewhere in the college basketball world there will be games at military bases and aircraft carriers but Michigan will open its season in Ann Arbor. The Wolverines host Slippery Rock, a school most associated with scoreboard updates at Michigan stadium, to begin the 2012-13 campaign. The Wolverines were nearly flawless in exhibition play and hope to carry that momentum into the season.
