Any chance you can post what the different annotations mean? I get EXH, but I’m lost with the rest.

It’d be nice to have a rematch with Virginia in the NIT, but potential match ups with Pitt and Kansas State would also be challenging. We know NC State should be good, but I’m thinking Arkansas and West Virginia will probably good games as well.

Looks like we have an average B1G schedule, but it will once again be the toughest conference and we start with some manageable games in the conference part of the schedule. We have to play all the best teams twice (except Wisconsin and Minnesota, if you’re counting them), but get to play Penn State and Purdue twice on the flip side.

  • Some visit notes. Keita Bates-Diop will visit OSU next weekend, MSU on the 15th. Jae’Sean Tate is expected in Columbus this weekend at the OSU game. Devin Booker is off to Mississippi State this weekend and Missouri the next.

SIAP, but have any of the 2014 prospects set up Sept. visits to UM? (All these other visits make me nervous)

All the scheduling stuff evens out over time, but missing @NB is kinda too bad because it’s a likely conference road victory, which are nice to assemble. Otherwise, I like the schedule, no two day turnarounds in the B1G and the two byes are sprinkled in their nicely. The @IU, OSU, @Wiscy, @MSU stretch is gonna be tough. I really hope we win our NIT pod. I don’t really know much about those teams but my guess is Cleveland State will be the toughest test. They have a really solid program.

Anyone know if that MSU home game is during Spring Break? Would suck to have the students gone for that one but seems to happen every year to at least one big game…

    • BlimpyBlue

The home games both vs. MSU and Indiana will be during Spring Break. I’m not sure why the Big Ten felt the need to schedule two major home games during this time — it screws over both the team and the student ticket holders.

Bonus for those of us wanting tickets who are not students though as there should be more available for us :)

Finally a game in Champaign on a weekend!

glad that they replaced some mid-majors that we never heard of with well known in-state teams, but who is slippery rock?
