any opinions on ADV?  I was only able to catch a few minutes in the first half.  ADV hit a wide open three off a kick out and made a really nice defensive play coming over in help side to cut off a drive and force a turnover.  But other than that was not able to tell much.  It looked like Findlay was far superior to the other team and could get whatever shot they wanted on offense.  I did hear the announcers say that ADV started the game but that might just be for this game as Findlay had two McD’ All-Americans coming off the bench.

      Yeah that team was stacked…..

They were the only team to beat Chicago Simeon all year and they won by 25.

ADV looked all of 6’5 and played very good help side D, moved his feet well. What impressed me most was that he was an open option in many situations but wasn’t given the look, but when he did get the ball he quickly kept it moving and rotated to the next player. Great sign of a patient, unselfish player who doesn’t just jack it up because it’s ‘his turn to shoot”.

I saw ADV’s games on tv, his teammates looked like they don’t want to pass to him even when he was wide open at the 3pt line. He didn’t do much dribbling either, so he looks more
Iike a 3 pt specialist like evan smotz. or Matt vogrich.

Glenn Robinson III named MVP of his All Star game with something like 16 points on 6-7 shooting but really struggled from the free throw line.

GRIII gets mvp honors a bit early before game actually ended cause he missed his last 4 consecutive FT’s….last 2 coulda put the game away and the win for the North squad….just about all of his pts came on uncontested dunks…FT shooting needs some work….and his defense on and more importantly away from the ball needs some major work….I understand its supposed to b a “fun” game to play but was a little disappointed in the intensity and lack of effort at times…it was just too easy to notice….I’m sure Beilein did….GO BLUE…

On the other hand Mitch was running up and down the court on every possession like a bull…Commentators spoke highly of the recruiting class but never once mentioned Stauskas as the the third piece to our #11 best recruiting class in the country…I have a good feeling Nik is flying way under the radar….and imo is gonna b a great asset to this program next year…GO BLUE!!
