One streak must die. Michigan puts its 8-0 home record on the line against a Wisconsin team that John Beilein has never beaten since arriving in Ann Arbor. Tip off is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. eastern time and the game will be televised on CBS, or streaming (apparently for free) here.

Join us in the comments below before, during and after the game to discuss the action.

Is Burke a senior ? Man o’ man does he have alot of savy out there.

    • rlcBlue

Enjoyed the graphic where they typo’ed Tim Hardaway, Junior class.

  • boom

  • rlcBlue

Every time we get a rebound, Wisconsin is apparently allowed to do whatever they want to our rebounder. I think it’s time to clear with some elbows.

    • rlcBlue

And now they whistle Smotz, and even Clark Bucknut thinks it’s BS

  • cant get breaks at home…wow

  • Sven187

Good. Get Evan out of there. He’s a liability at this point.

  • lets gooooo

  • rlcBlue

We can get offensive rebounds, too!

  • Zack Novak just made two huge play w/ the steal at one end and keeping ball alive on the other. U-M leads 32-19. Michigan has opened the half on a 7-0 run.

  • Michigan shut Wisconsin out for the first 4 minute stretch of each half. Not bad.

  • rlcBlue

    Blow the whistle! Come on!

    • rlcBlue

That’s two possessions where the screen and roll has gotten us an uncalled foul against Morgan and a missed jumper by Burke. We must get points from this set going down the stretch.

  • beingklauskinski

Wisconsin’s offensive board monster is eating us alive

  • Offensive rebounds are keeping Wisconsin alive in this one. Badgers rebounding 35% of their misses.

  • Rather than grab defensive rebounds, Michigan has had more success stealing them after Wisconsin grabs them.

    • beingklauskinski

      so pathetically true

    • rlcBlue

It’s the three second moratorium on calling fouls after a rebound. Might as well mug the guy as soon as he gets his hands on the ball.

  • Sven187

HAHA Stu leading the break is just funny looking. But he drew the foul. Well done Stu!

  • Sven187

How does Hulls score 28 on anyone? I don’t think he could score 28 on me if we played 5 times.

    • rlcBlue

Can your little brothers cover Zeller and Watford without double teaming?

  • Sven187

There is another one of those steaks of an offensive rebound you mentioned Dylan.

  • good to see Trey’s fam there

  • Brian

Hardaway has been a man on the glass today

  • beingklauskinski

    O-rebounds in THEIR FACE! hodoyoulikethat?!

  • Alex

    First one to 55 wins.

    • rlcBlue

First one to 42 won. :)

  • Michigan is battling on the offensive glass. Rebounding 32% of its misses &extending some crucial possessions. 43-31 UM

  • mstein23

    Zack Freakin’ Novak!

    • beingklauskinski

      and Stu f’ing Douglass

  • what a play

  • beingklauskinski

    HEYOOOOOO

  • DB

You can review back court violations?

    • beingklauskinski

really, my question exactly.  Didnt look like Zack ever got in the front court

  • mstein23

What’s going on here?  That’s not a back court violation.  Zack hadn’t established position across half court yet.

  • The ref needs to report it to the CBS guys?

  • DB

Ah, the were reviewing to see if a shot to the head, not back court.

  • Morgan is a mann today

  • Sven187

That is Morgan’s board and you will stay off of it!

  • rlcBlue

Like everyone, I’m really looking forward to next year’s freshman class, but…

I’m really going to miss Novak and Douglass.

  • DB

Just take 30 seconds off the clock each possession.  Scoring is secondary.

  • Let’s see if Michigan can close this game. You know Jordan Taylor is gonna hit some shots.

  • jemblue

The growth in Novak’s game just since last year is really apparent.  He is much more comfortable taking it to the rim.  He’s also seeing the floor a lot better.

  • DB

Wisconsin struggling now, but this will look very good at the end of the year.

    • Indiana_Matt

I hope so. Looks better for us.

  • DB

Wow, Who’d have thought they get to do a line change at the end of the game against Wisconsin.

  • rlcBlue

Wisconsin’s gonna keep fouling everybody into the boxscore. Go Eso!

  • beingklauskinski

    We spanked ’em

  • mstein23

Huge win. Great effort. Go Blue!

  • rlcBlue

So, will Wisconsin fall all the way down to #3 in KenPom’s ratings?

  • Alex

    Nice response Blue.

  • DB

Next up Home to Norhtwestern and at Iowa.  Two games they should win but are not lay-ups.  I hate those types of games, there’s no upside.

  • Scott1222

    Great bounce back win..
