A couple times today, Hardaway’s done that right-handed drive all the way to the rim that Manny Harris loved to do. Of course, Manny didn’t have anywhere near Hardaway’s jumpshot.

  • Mattski

I like these announcers. Very little sugercoat. . . including the harshest rendition yet of the Hardaway family saga. Ragging on UCLA, etc.

    • Jeff

Yeah, they’re a very good crew. Entertaining.

    • Mattski

Seriously attractive woman sitting behind them there, too.

  • A2JD

Jeez- I hope Hardaway stays one more year.

if anyone cares, Iowa down to Campbell by 9 with about 12 minutes left

  • Stu Douglass has now made as many free throws this season (3) as he made all of last season.

    • MGoTweeter

im impressed with the teams ability to get to the line that last couple games

    • mgobird

dylan are you serious with that stat?

  • Mattski

UCLA needs to join the Big Ten.

  • MGoTweeter

Douglass going for a double double with points and turnovers.   Meanwhile I think Burke has decided to take a nap for this entire second half.

  • Bhallcidera

we’re definitely not playing clean right now, just need to make a couple more buckets

  • MGoTweeter

Ok I think this one is officially over.  UCLA looks out of it.

  • A2JD

I hope Brundidge gets back in.

If you woulda told me we took 2 of 3 here in Maui and a third place finish…I would be ecstatic. So I am extremely happy with this. My opinions of this team have changed dramatically since watching the first three games of the year.

  • Was worried about Michigan’s offense before Maui… Michigan shredded the nets in Hawaii. Bad defense? Maybe but U-M really scored the ball well in all three games.

And yeah, this one is over.

    BEAT OHIO CHANT!  LOVE IT!

  • MGoTweeter

Novak about to get a career high

  • Mikebainbridge20

Sorry Zachary but your Pack are going down tomorrow

  • Mattski

The Zack Attack! Going to the line for a career night.

  • Novak has a career high 22 points on just 8 shots. Efficiently shredding.

  • Very strange to not see Horford much in the 2nd half

    • MGoTweeter

he struggled to guard guys when he was in there, the offense was flowing without him.  Dont mess with what is working

      • I understand that but it seemed like he gained some confidence in the 1st half, hopefully that doesn’t negate that by not getting off the bench in the 2nd.

    • jaisdaddy

yea i found that to be odd also, he was getting good looks and making everything but he didn’t get much PT in the 2nd half…

  • MGoTweeter

ugh i hate when teams get a bunch of easy baskets against the scrubs.  Its one thing to score against the D, but we should be better with the ball even with these guys out there.

  • A2JD

Nice overall game.  I really like that, although he didn’t have his best game, Smot is getting after those rebounds and playing better D.  4 assists too!

Well two pretty good resume builders though probably not signature wins though who knows and a good rpi booster playing one of the better teams in the country. I’ll take that. Let’s finish the out of conference strong and see what happens.

If I’m Duke I would not want to play Michigan again this year.

    • MGoTweeter

im not so sure about good rpi booster.  Memphis and Duke help, but UCLA may end up hurting.  They are so bad right now, it is really hard to imagine that team winning more than ten games this year, even in the terrible Pac 12.
