I like the design of the Player Development Center. Very clever to have the circular entrance to mimic Crisler instead of just tacking on a rectangular structure. As a long, long time season ticket holder, I’m really excited to see the interior re-do next fall.

Wonder they’re doing with the old seats. Wouldn’t mind having a couple of those in the den…

Are they going to add any additional entrances to Crisler from the parking lot? One thing that can be frustrating is having to walk halfway around the building, in often very cold weather, before you can get in.

Thanks for the link, Dylan. Much appreciated!

Wow…..Maybe the rumor is true that Dwuan Anderson only won Mr. Basketball because the 3 kids in SE MI split the vote up too much.

Dwuan wasn’t even part of the Detroit News’ “Dream Team”. How does supposedly the best player in the state not make that team?

Who is “Parade” Never head of them before.

If you get a Sunday newspaper, you’ll most likely find the Parade magazine inside. That’s the Parade that you’re referring to. From Wikipedia…

Parade is an American nationwide Sunday newspaper magazine, distributed in more than 500 newspapers in the United States. It was founded in 1941 and is owned by Advance Publications. The most widely read magazine in the U.S., Parade has a circulation of 32.4 million and a readership of nearly 72 million.

The Roof must be one of the up-coming projects for them to do. It would really suck to install the new seats and have the roof debris or chunks of the roof, damage any of the new stuff. I would think they would do the new roof first. That means taking the scoreboard down from the rafters, banners must come down, lights must come down, speakers must come down. The arena interior will be pretty empty for awhile during this process. I can’t wait to come to the first exhibition game in the fall to see the BRAND NEW FUTURE!
