NBA Summer League Viewing Guide

Now that DeShawn Sims and Manny Harris have landed in the NBA Summer League (Harris/Cavs, Sims/Celtics), I thought I’d throw together a quick listing of all the games that they have scheduled over the next three weeks.

It’s tough to handicap Sims and Harris’ chances at making their respective teams. The Cavs have a number of guards and wings in the picture but many are rumored to be on the trading block, including Mo Williams, Delonte West, and Daniel Gibson. The Cavs didn’t have any draft picks this year but Danny Green and Christian Eyenga are two guard/wing players that Harris could be fighting for a roster slot.

Sims will be duking it out in summer ball with a number of young wing/power forward type of players including Luke Harangody (the Celtics 2nd round pick), Ryan Wittman, Ryan Thompson, and Tony Gaffney.

Sims will play in the Orlando league which takes place from July 5-9th while Harris will play in Las Vegas from July 13-18th. All times listed in eastern time and a majority of games are on NBATV but you can also stream them here (for 15 bucks). Full schedule after the jump.
