Report: PJ Dozier to announce college decision on Wednesday

PJ Dozier is set to announce his college decision on Wednesday, according to a report by Phil Kornblut.

“Dozier’s father and coach Perry said Sunday afternoon from practice  his son had “somewhat” made his decision and will announce it on Wednesday,” Kornblut wrote. “Dozier has been considering USC, Michigan, North Carolina, Georgetown and Louisville.”

Kornblut also reports that Dozier is down to two schools, but isn’t revealing his final two.

Per his dad, PJ Dozier of Spring Valley is down to two and is pretty sure about which school he will choose. Perry Dozier did not reveal the final two and said his son will make his announcement at Spring Valley on Wednesday around 12:15 PM. PJ Dozier has been considering USC, UNC, Louisville, Michigan and Georgetown. USC coach Frank Martin did meet with the Doziers Friday, the last head coach to get into see PJ before the decision.

Dozier is the No. 26 prospect in the country according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. He visited all five schools on his list, but Louisville appears to have the late momentum. The Cardinals had the final visit and 55% of 247 Sports Crystal Ball predictions peg Dozier to Louisville.

Wednesday is the first day of the early signing period for class of 2015 recruits.

Michigan is also recruiting German forward Moe Wagner, five-star wing Jaylen Brown, five-star big man Caleb Swanigan in the class of 2015. Swanigan visited Duke over the weekend. The Wolverines have at least one scholarship to give in the class.
