EC Matthews stole the show at the night cap during the Romulus Holiday Classic on Friday evening. Matthews exploded for 21 points in a four point victory over Detroit Community. Matthews indicated that Michigan continues to show some interest, mostly with letters, but that he’d love to hear more from the Wolverines. He also relayed that Xavier and Arizona are two other schools showing him the most interest and that Xavier appears to be on the verge of offering him a scholarship.
