Aaron Fuller’s Mesa High team lost in the state playoffs last night 50-38. Fuller was not expected to play due to an elbow to the mouth:
Mountain View star guard Brendon Lavender injured his elbow when it landed in Mesa star Aaron Fuller’s mouth in the first half. Fuller is iffy tonight against Chandler Basha after having eight teeth pushed in. He didn’t play in the second half against Mountain View.
I am not sure how high school basketball in Arizona works but it seems that this was the playoffs and that the loss would mean Fuller’s season is over. Definitely a tough way to go out for Fuller, on the bench with a busted jaw. Ebuka, Watts and Fuller now would have completed their seasons and we will probably find whether they have serious interest in a visit or not very soon.
Post-Game: Another good road effort, another “moral victory”, but another loss. There were flashes where Michigan looked very good, and then at the end the wheels fell off to OSU’s pressure D. It really helped Michigan when OSU sat back in the zone, then they realized that the refs would allow the tight pressure D and that Michigan couldn’t handle it.
Update on Aaron Fuller, please help us Mr Fuller. We need talent and we need talent badly.

UPDATE: It’s posted here that Beilein is going to check out 09 guard Darius Morris. I would assume he would stop by to check out Fuller and Morris.
As mentioned here, Aaron Fuller is a new recruit on the Michigan hot board. Fuller is a 6-7 wing from out west whom Michigan is expected to check out.
Fuller, who has Michigan interested in him and will be in town Wednesday to watch him play, had 28 points and 12 rebounds. But Fuller said this wasn’t about him vs. Rohde. “This was about everybody, not just me,” said Fuller, who made 12 of 19 shots and played tough defense in ending a four-game win streak by Pinnacle (16-5).
Fuller seems to be more of a true wing at 6-7, maybe he could also play the 4? I wouldn’t mind adding him or Ebuka or both. We need ballers. I’ll try and dig up some more info on Fuller later today.
