Michigan offers class of 2018 forward Brandon Johns

John Beilein extended a scholarship offer to class of 2018 forward Brandon Johns today.

Johns is rated as a four-star prospect and ranked 76th in the class of 2018 according to 247 Sports’ Composite rankings. He also holds offers from from Alabama and Iowa along with interest from Kansas, Michigan State, Ohio State, Purdue an Texas.

Johns is averaging 8 points and four rebounds per game this summer for Spiece Indy Heat on the Nike EYBL circuit while playing at the 17U level.

“Well, first, they are home, so close by for one,” he said of Michigan in a recent interview at USA Basketball training camp. “The program is great and routinely one of the best teams in the Big 10 so they of course would be a strong option for me.”
