The Big Ten Tournament bracket was finalized on Sunday afternoon as the Big Ten regular season came to a close.

Michigan will open the tournament against No. 9 Northwestern on Thursday afternoon and the winner of that game will face Indiana, the 2015-16 Big Ten Champions, on Friday at noon.

Let’s go BLUE!! Starting with tip-off, this team need to leave it ALL on the floor.
Get on the floor after the loose balls.
Get the Wildcats in foul trouble and continue to attack the basket.
    PLAY DEFENSE.

Barring unforeseen circumstances, I should be in attendance for the NW game (I work down the street from Banker’s Life Field house). The Wolverines have never lost when I have been there in person (2-0 all time).

This is the most encouraging news on the hoops front in a little while.

I wanted to bring some sunshine. Not that anyone cares, but the two games were against Ball State in Muncie in the fall of 1995 (80-52) and the B1G tourney win against Iowa in 2004 (79-70).

I hope you are there then. Be there for the IU game also.

I don’t think I will be able to make that one, sadly.

hope we beat NW but i just dont see us beating Indiana…they are rolling right now….hope all bubble teams struggle and we still manage to make it in…i cant believe we are still in the bubble and technically in according to ESPN http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/bracketology/_/iteration/251….we have lost 7 out of our last 9 games…a win against NW will continue to help

Check again, we are the 6th team out according to Lunardi. We probably need to beat IU AND win a game Saturday.

We may beat NWestern because we hardly lose three straight games under Beilein, but even that game scares me. If we fortunate enough to win, the team I’d least want to face is Indiana/MSU. It would take a miracle to win that (basically home) game in Indianapolis. This team had their chances @UMD, @Wisconsin, and home v. Iowa, but I am afraid I dont see it. Hoping for the best, expecting the worst at this point.
