Caris LeVert to miss Penn State game with ‘lower left leg injury’

Dylan Burkhardt

Caris LeVert will sit out Michigan’s Big Ten home opener this afternoon against Penn State with a lower left leg injury

“Caris will miss today’s game and his future status will be determined on a day-to-day basis,” John┬áBeilein said in a statement. “We hope to know more this upcoming week as he continues with his treatment.”

LeVert appeared to injure himself late in Michigan’s win at Illinois, but stayed in the game. Here’s footage of the potential injury.

No. Not another injury… Right as this team was hitting it’s groove. Hurts big time with the 5 position too!
