Report: Michigan offers four-star forward Jaren Jackson

Michigan extended its second class of 2017 scholarship offer on Saturday to 6-foot-9 forward Jaren Jackson.

Michigan extended its second class of 2017 scholarship offer on Saturday to 6-foot-9 forward Jaren Jackson.

The news was first reported by Kyle Neddenriep on Saturday evening.

Jackson is a 6-foot-9 wing from Park Tudor high school in Indianapolis and is ranked 73rd nationally in the class of 2017 according to 247Sports Composite rankings.  He also holds offers from Indiana, Notre Dame, Michigan State, Georgetown, Butler, Purdue, Maryland and others.

Jackson received the offer on his first unofficial visit to Ann Arbor and joins Milwaukee guard Jordan Poole as an offered prospect in the class.

The Wolverines had a busy visit weekend, also hosting Musa Jallow, Austin Boucher, Maishe Dailey, Thomas Kithier, Brandon Wade, Sean Cobb and others.
