Michigan offers five-star wing Josh Langford

Dylan Burkhardt

Michigan extended a scholarship offer to 2016 forward Josh Langford today.

Langford is a five-star prospect and the No. 17 recruit in his class according to 247Sports Composite. He also holds offers from Indiana, Louisville, Kansas and a host of other major schools.

Langford received the offer an unofficial visit on Friday and is also expected to visit Michigan State on Saturday. The offer was first reported by Mark Zakrajsek of 247Sports.

The Wolverines recently landed a commitment from 2016 big man Jon Teske, but now have seven additional scholarship offers outstanding in the class of 2016. Keep track of previous and scheduled campus visits on our recruiting visitors page.

This kids game reminds me of Lance Stephenson

I like the comparison. Thicker build, good athleticism, playmaking and all around offensive game. Probably a lot better head on his shoulders though I would imagine.

    Seriously, who DOESN’T Indiana offer?

They’ll be offering coaches after this year.

Looks terrific. Between us and Kansas? Decision in any way imminent?

  • Serious hops.

Is he a little old for his grade level? Regardless, he looks like a versatile player and a good fit for UM.
