Five-star wing Josh Langford will visit Michigan Friday

Dylan Burkhardt

Michigan will host class of 2016 forward Josh Langford for a visit on Friday.

Langford is a five-star prospect and the No. 17 recruit in his class according to 247Sports Composite. He also holds offers from Indiana, Louisville, Kansas and a host of others.

His most recent campus visit was earlier this month to Vanderbilt. The trip will be Langford’s first to Ann Arbor and he’s expected to be offered a scholarship after his visit which would make him the eighth prospect in the class of 2016 to earn a Michigan scholarship offer.

News of the visit was first reported by Mark Zakrajsek of 247 Sports. Langford’s father confirmed news of the visit to UM Hoops.

The Wolverines also recently hosted 2016 big man Jon Teske and will have Division III transfer Duncan Robinson on campus for a visit this week. Keep track of previous and scheduled campus visits on our recruiting visitors page.

We are going to break through eventually with these top 25s, it’s just a matter of time. First Dozier and now Josh. Sick em staff!!

    Looks like Shabazz Mohammed.

    • I was thinking more of a smaller-framed Born Ready.

That was the name that popped in my head too. Although they weren’t directly matched up, he has a few moments against Steven Zimmerman in that highlight clip, including that block.

Thornton, Winston, Ramsey, Goodin all possibilities at the 1. Battle, Dozier, Langford at the wing position. If UM can land at least one from each group they will be just fine moving forward. Excited to see who they land.
