Kid has some Trey Burke in his game.

Agreed. Seems to have a knack for finding the hoop when it doesn’t look like he should be able to.

He has crazy handles especially that killer crossover. He looks very thin but I’m sure he will fill out as he develops physically.

Love Thornton. Hope he ends up playing for Michigan. I see a future NBAer who can score and handle. And he’ll be even better when he adds some strength. If we can get him, I would imagine more players would want to follow him…he looks like someone you’d want to play with (definitely not against).

Hope he can shoot from the perimeter…

needs to work on his ball handling

This kid needs a orthopedic doctor following him around, because he is break’n so many ankles. Wow.

  • NC Blue

This may sound a bit funny, but this reminds me of Drew Neitzel’s high school tape on steroids. Much, much more athletic, but the crossovers, ability to shoot with either hand, size, and shooting form all remind me of Neitzel. Maybe that’s just the West Michigan person in me, but that’s what I thought of after watching. Not saying those 2 are in the same class though.

Wow, if this kid already has skills like that, imagine what Beilein and co. could do to develop him and refine his game. Resembles Burke as well. Definitely want to keep an eye on this one.
