Beilein on Mitch return date, “Don’t have a date. I think the date will be when we really feel he is as close to being in shape, to get in there and really play.” He doesn’t want anyone to have any idea when he is coming back. Mitch is quoted in saying he plans on being ready for Duke. That probably is what the plan is and Mitch let it slip accidentally, while Beilein is making sure to be completely evasive.

Maybe you can read into that as a slip. It could be a much more fluid date as they continue to talk to more doctors along the way. Either way, it’s undoubtedly good news to hear that he’s getting reps back in.

It’s so nice to hear Coach Beilein in pressers especially when juxtaposing them with football pressers. Even though I know I’m never getting any big details out of Beilein, he at least makes me feel like I’m learning new things about the team in practice, and sometimes we do learn something new.

Boy doesn’t our current football coaches make you appreciate even more the great development Beilein does with his players. Beilein takes players and makes them better, while our football coaches make their student athletes worse.
