DJ Wilson sets Michigan official visit

Class of 2014 combo forward DJ Wilson has set three official visits. Wilson confirmed that he plans to trip to Columbia on September 19th, Gonzaga the weekend of September 27th and Michigan the weekend of October 4th.

Michigan will play Minnesota on the football field during Wilson’s visit and class of 2014 wing Devin Booker has also scheduled his official visit that weekend.

Wilson is a 6-foot-8 forward from Sacramento, California who holds offers from USC, Cal, Colorado, Boise State and Nevada along with additional interest from Stanford, Washington State and Arizona State. He missed significant time this spring and summer with injury but caught the attention of the Michigan coaching staff in Milwaukee this July. Wilson updated his recruitment with UM Hoops earlier this month and he’s one of many combo forward targets to emerge on Michigan’s recruiting board this July.

I wonder if that’s what Austin Daye looked like at that age…..

He makes it seem effortless – I don’t know if he just floats longer or has super long arms or both. Skinny but he seems to handle the ball and have enough range in his game to be a nice player.

Kid could be a great addition……….things that i have read on him are very positive. Because of injury it seems as if he has slipped under the radar. He just seems like a kid who has the potential to shoot up the rankings. glad he is visiting
