Would this make Jordan the more likely successor to Beilein now due to the head coaching experience ? I always assumed it would be BA. Thoughts?

My prediction is that BA will also get his own team before Beilein retires.

I knew that it would just be a matter of time before one, if not all, of the AC’s would get coaching offers. Selfishly, I was hoping it was still a year or two off.

I am putting my money on LaVall being the next HC at Butler. I will be sad that he is leaving, but assistant’s turning into HC is another very positive sign for Beilein.

If he leaves it will cause a little stress for the program, but I have to believe that there would be some very very qualified and good candidates who wouldn’t mind being a coach at UM.

Has Travis Conlan taken another job yet? I bet he would be next in line if he’s still available.

Disappointing to hear, but I’m happy for LJ if he gets a head coaching job. It’s completely understandable if he took the head coaching job at his alma mater. He and Bacari did excellent jobs the past two years; hopefully Beilein can find another diamond in the rough for an assistant.

    Butler’s loss, Michigan’s gain.
