NBE Basketball caught up with Glenn Robinson III at the Kevin Durant Skills Academy.
MW: What’s it like playing for Coach John Belien? A lot of people like him because he lets the players play.
GRIII: I love Coach Belien. He’s a real coach who understands the game of basketball. Has a great philosophy of the game of basketball and he pushes us every day. And most importantly he treats us like grown men and he talks to us off the court and he tries to get involved in our lives rather than just the game of basketball.MW: So he’s like your friend basically?
GRIII: He’s more than a friend. He’s someone who on the weekend we can talk to about that type of stuff and he tries to interact with us off the court also.
