2012-2013 Season

Great People, Great Things

corevalues[1]

David Merritt examines the core values of the Michigan basketball program and provides some information about his latest venture, Merit:

Championship caliber teams have to have this. They have to have “buy in.” And Michigan is getting so much “buy in,” even with increased talent, because they’ve recruited to their core values. These kids listen to instruction. They listen to guidance. They’re determined to get better every single day individually, and as a team. They’ve got good kids man (young men rather). When I look at Trey Burke, I see Diligence. When I look at Jon Horford, I see Integrity. When I look at Mitch McGary, I see Appreciation. When I look at Tim Hardaway, I see Passion. When I look at Corey Person, I see Unity.
