Tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at Crisler Arena on BTN.com (streaming for a fee information here). Join in the discussion before, during and after the game in the comments section below.

Anyone have a link to watch live?

  • My first time in Crisler this season… Renovations are unreal. Have to see them for yourself.

    • Skinzkid

      didnt’ work

  • Jon Pence

Live tempo-based stats for the game here, starters should be posted momentarily…

  • Blueball97

a link was put up last time, hopefully we get it again

  • Jay Z

Oh, the announcers. So bad. I hate to say it.

My main beef: they play-by-play guy announces like he’s calling a game on the radio. Way too fast, leading to way too many mistakes. Very awkward to listen to. Like: I feel awkward b/c they’re doing so poorly. You don’t need to describe every step the players take. The color guy also talks way too fast and tries to say something extremely clever about every play. Some plays are just bleh plays, and you can hold off on commenting.

    • Mark

Give ’em a break they’re students not professional announcers. I’ve heard much worse.

      • jrems

        And… BOOM goes the dynamite.

      • Jay Z

Yeah, yeah. Give ’em a break. I know. But it’s to the point where it really takes away from the game.

Sort of funny: a lot of “wiiiide open” when the shot is contested, and he’s also said “easy lay-in” a few times when there’s tons of contact (one of which was even called a charge on THJ!)

  • Glenn Robinson III, Trey Burke, Tim Hardaway Jr., Jordan Morgan and Matt Vogrich starting for Michigan.

  • catwomanrx

can’t get any streaming to work. please help! do all of them cost money? thanks

  • Chris

    Maybe an online radio feed?

  • Jay
    • Kevin in GR

Thanks Jay, you the man :) I turned the volume down and listen to the audio through Mgoblue.com :)

    • catwomanrx

      thank you!

  • Steve2081

Vogrich has a nice nose for jumping those reversal passes.

  • jrems
    • Skinzkid

      Works great, thank you.

    • Wayman Britt

jrems – thanks for the stream info. worked great

  • Cary Bear

    GRII is a serious baller.

  • Jay

  • Glenn Robinson III is 4-4 (2-2 3pt) with 10 points in the first six minutes. The kid can play a bit. U-M leads 17-9.

  • Kenny

another three for Tre. Can’t he shoot?

  • Mattski

McGairy with a touch of dilithium racing down the court. . .

  • Kenny

McGary and Morgan on court together.

  • ZRL

Note to announcers: not every single 3 point attempt with an inch of space is “wide open”

  • Chris

    Announcers are just bad

  • rugbyJosh

I’ve got the radio broadcast on and the stream muted. Best of both worlds?

  • Steve2081

You can tell that Burke can pretty much score on these kids at will but we are trying to work on different.

    • Burke’s hesitation move to score a couple possessions ago was just filthy.

  • Kenny

    McLimans hit a three!!!!

  • Kenny

    GRIII, great body control.

  • Kenny

Trey and Spike on the court together?

    • Steve2081

Yup. We went from 2 posts to 2 PG’s.

    • Saw a lot this half that we didn’t see in the first game… Trey and Spike. Mitch and Jordan. Glenn at the three for a stint.

  • 9 Michigan players with a bucket in the first half. Two (Robinson and Burke) in double figures. U-M offense clicking

    • Mattski

Gaudy. I’m itching to see them against some competition now.

  • Michigan 1.53 PPP, SVSU .72

    Michigan eFG%: 71%, OR% 55%, 14.3% TO Rate, FTA/FGA: 7%
    SVSU: eFG%: 44% , OR%: 13% , 25% TO Rate, FTA/FGA: 0%

  • Michigan’s stats ridiculous again: rebounding half its misses, shooting the lights out, not much to complain about.

  • gpsimms

If GRIII keeps shooting well, we are actually going to live up to the top 5 billing. All the freshman are impressing, but his range is one thing I didn’t expect and I think it makes our offense really, really, tough to guard.

I’m gonna go broken record, you all know I think this: still don’t like Tim at the 2. He is forcing action.

Mcgary looked kind of lost offensively in the first game, and looks more comfortable already.

I love that we are feeding Jordan down low, but he needs to get it out of the double team faster.

Trey Burke is in a different league.

  • izmatt18

It’s exhibition season but I’m going to go again and mute it while listening to some pumping, celebratory techno music.

  • DingoBlue

So for those of us keeping track, Vogrich 1/7 from three land in 2 exhibition games so far.

    • He will be there. I did not even see the game but I bet he was just letting it go a bit too fast. If he sticks with it he will come through for us.

  • The Truth

I think Stauskus’ defense (or lack thereof) is going to prevent him from seeing more playing time. It leaves something to be desired.

  • skitchbeatz

Even though they’re up 30 does it feel like they aren’t playing as well as they could on Defense?

    • SVSU has hit some threes… Some you could say were a bit lucky. SVSU is also shooting 32% on twos and Michigan is dominating the defensive glass.

    • skitchbeatz

as I say that McGary gets a block and a steal for a fastbreak dunk…

  • Cary Bear

What was the score at half?

  • McGary with 10 rebounds in 15 minutes of playing time. He’s all over the glass. Breakaway – maybe we should say runaway freight train – slam after a steal. He also looks like he’s slowly getting back in shape.

  • countourzealous

Is anyone else reminded of Sully when they watch McGary?

And I obviously mean that in a good way.

    • Mattski

My feed is slow, but he looks so quick!

    • skitchbeatz

Post moves aren’t there yet and his butt isn’t as big so McGary is quicker

    • Steve2081

More like Meyers Leonard to me. Big, athletic, high energy, but raw offensively.

    • gpsimms

yup, don’t see that at all. Sullinger is extremely refined/skilled but not crazy athletic. McGary is a madman/athletic but not yet crazy skilled.

  • gobluemd16

I know it has just been two exhibition games against seriously inferior competition, but this team is going to be really, really special. I feel like that top 5 pre-season ranking is deserved at this point.
