Scouting Video: 2015 point guard AJ Harris at King James Classic

Dylan Burkhardt

Luke Kennard might have drawn more headlines with his King James 15U team at the King James Classic in Akron, Ohio last weekend but point guard A.J. Harris was also impressive. Harris showed off lightning quickness, great passing ability and a smooth mid-range shooting stroke all while playing up at the 16U level. Watch our scouting video of Harris, who is drawing early interest from Michigan, Xavier, Cincnnati, Ohio State and others.

That was pretty darned impressive. Pretty much every pass was where it needed to be and he’s got a good handle. Some of his shots were ill-advised but a lot were good as well. It’s the passing, dribbling, body control and speed that were most impressive.

This kid has talent; he’s very fast, is a good passer, and makes good decisions with the ball. He’s gonna get a lot of offers.

ESPN has him listed at 5’9″. He doesn’t look quite that short to me. Is that an old measurement?
