Life on the road in the Big Ten is far from easy but Assembly Hall is as tough of a venue as Michigan will travel to all season. The Wolverines most recent wins in Bloomington were in 1995 and 2009 and they will face a surging Hoosier team that’s 13-1 and has already beaten Ohio State and Kentucky. Michigan will look to its senior leaders, and Indiana natives, Zack Novak and Stu Douglass to help spark an upset.

Tip off is scheduled for 9:06 p.m. on ESPN2 (streaming on ESPN3) and Dan Dakich will be on the call with Dave O’Brien. Join us in the comments below for live discussion before, during and after tonight’s game.

Only thing you can take from this is we played like absolute poop, yet still only lost by 2. What a terrible, terrible game. Catch you guys on the flip side, Go Blue!!

I thought we played really well in the 2nd half. If we had played like absolute poop we would’ve lost by 30.

I should rephrase that to played like poop in the first half. Played decent in the second. The reason we were so close second half is because we atopped turning the ball over. I know Belien loves his threes, but we needed to drive more against Zellar when he had two fouls at half time. Young Burke will learn, though. Good effort in second half.

Score 70 points against Indiana in Bloomington and you have to characterize your play with something a trifle less than a monosyllabic “poop,” no? :) Lots of mistakes, but lots of good play, too. Hell, I loved Jordan Morgan’s game tonight, the way Burke recovered from a poor first half, etc. etc.

give me a break.very few teams if any are going to beat iu there

Hate the “deserved to lose or to win”.  You win or you lose.  Its not like they weren’t playing hard.  They had some mistakes, playing on the road in the B1G, it happens.

I agree. It’s a bunch of student-athletes out there playing their hearts out.

Great battle.  Burke 4-17, Hardaway 7-20 (0-7 from three).  Tough to win like that.  Great games from Morgan and Stu.  We’ll get them in Ann Arbor.

YIKES 0-for-7. I knew it was but bad but yeesh, if just one of those had gone in towards the end….

Good effort by the team. Loved the fight in the 2nd half! Can’t wait to play them again!

Can’t wait for the Wisconsin and Indiana games at Crisler.

Beilein will have this team ready. They are getting better. One day at a time.

Great effort tonight at an incredibly tough place to play. I definitely didn’t think we would have a shot that could’ve beaten them at the buzzer when we were down 15 in the first half. Hopefully THJ finds his 3-ball again, but his move to beat 4 Hoosiers to the basket for the slam was beast. Everyone showed great heart tonight. I love this team and this conference. Beat Wisconsin.

I just hope the team has enough gas left in the tank for Wisconsin Sunday.

  • IU fan here. Both teams didn’t play to their potential. Should be a real fun game in Ann Arbor. Best of luck the rest of the way.
