While Michigan landed a pair of commitments earlier this afternoon in Austin Hatch and Mark Donnal, they handed out two three more scholarship offers. Commitments come in pairs and 2013 big man Mark Donnal verbally committed shortly after Austin Hatch joined in. Austin Hatch just confirmed that he committed to Michigan this afternoon. Hatch delcared in April that Michigan was “probably No. 1”, today he made it official by verbally committing to John Beilein and the Michigan Wolverines. Hatch received an official offer from the Michigan staff on June 15th and didn’t wait long to make his pledge. [...]
June 15th is the first day that Division-I coaches are allowed to contact prospects in the class of 2013 and in Michigan’s case, the first date that the Wolverine staff will extend scholarship offers.
