Josh Houchin, a frequent commenter and UMHoops video guru, volunteered to stop by the Adidas May Classic and film a couple of games this weekend. He filmed U-M commit Glenn Robinson III in the SYF Players win over Indiana Elite One on Saturday afternoon. It was a successful tournament for Robinson and his SYF team, as they made it to the quarterfinals in the gold bracket. Robinson had 22 points in the win (including a three that wasn’t caught on camera):

Loved this quote from the Indy Star:“If I knew that was Glenn Robinson, I wouldn’t have tried to block it.” http://bit.ly/kRu6Qh

Also, Glenn Robinson III is No. 50 in the new Rivals rankings, Stauskas is at No. 89.

McGary at 5!  that guy has gone bananas.  Dylan, do u think we have any shot at him?

  • Mattski

Likes to bang. May find work in the B10.

I saw his dad play in the tourney. Wicked seats right behind the Purdue bench. He went bananas in the first round game scoring from everywhere and put down one of the most ferocious dunks I have ever seen.

A lot of Little Glenn’s game reminds me of his dad. Can’t wait to see him in the maize and blue.

    Awesome reports on Robinson.

As for the Rivals 150, hopefully that will put to rest the myth that JB won’t/can’t recruit top 50 talent.

I agree with you but let them rank these guys wherever they want.  Production will supercede any pre-college recruiting rankings.  Anyone can see how special this kid is.  I like how JB is getting in on these kids early before they blow up.
