Gotta like where Darius’s head is at. Seems to me like it will just make him a stronger player in the long run

Go blue. This is my senior year. I have been to ever basketball game for the last four years. This year’s team was amazing. Thank you guys for giving Michigan sports something to be PROUD off. They’ve played their asses off, hats of to this team. I could not be happier with the way this season ended. GO BLUE, and good luck in future seasons!!!

It’s just not right that the team (esp. Darius) had to answer questions in the locker room right after the loss. Can’t the media wait until the press conference. That said, both Darius and Hardaway handled themselves really well. They seem really hungry for next year…hope they carry that through summer conditioning and long days in the gym.

I am really proud of how Michigan played in the tournament this year. Our play against Duke should change some minds among the doubters (not on this website) who chalked up the Tennessee win to the turmoil around Tennessee’s coaching situation. I just wish a few more key shots would have fallen for us today, especially the last shot by Morris. But considering expectations at the start of the season and midway through the Big Ten season, I am really happy with this season and impressed by how far this team developed. The mental toughness this team shows regardless of the score bodes well for next year. I can’t wait for next season.

If you get a chance…check out this link and click on the video on the right. I can’t STAND Coach K but he had nothing but compliments for Michigan and Beilein…calling Coach B one of the best coaches in the country! Couldn’t agree more….Harvard can have Amaker ANYDAY! I’ll take Beilein!! HAIL!

Coach K respects Coach Beilein a lot. Here is another write-up on the CBS website about next years Michigan team. Coach K had to take his Jacket off during one of the early 2nd half timeouts to coach his team. He rarely does that!!!

Nice except for the mandatory reference to the 1-3-1.

Who was the idiot doing the CBS highlights? He kept calling Morris “Moore.”

I like that they’re hurt but not devastated by the loss. I don’t expect a follow-up season like ’10 was. We’ve got good guard play and that should only get stronger with Burke & Brundidge coming in.

If we can add a talented big, there’s no reason why we can’t be a 5 seed or better next year.

    GO BLUE!

Can’t wait for next year. Seems so far away right now.

    Awesome season!

Hard to lose a close one but that’s the nature of college basketball. The future is really bright with this coach and group of players. They’re adding two very talented guards and may still get another decent post player. As it is, they should stil be in better shape next year inside and outside – Horford is already shows signs of being a possible starter and should continue to add muscle, McClimans should continue to develop into a decent backup with Beilein’s coaching and other young starters (Morris, Smotrycz, Morgan and Hardaway) should all continue to improve.

I knew Beilein was a very good coach but he’s surpassed my greatest expectations.
