16-15 Michigan at the 12 minute time out. Bryant shooting 50% from three point range. Michigan shooting just 40% from long range but they have a handful of offensive rebound already — zone offense is still a work in progress.

8 minute timeout, Michigan leads 26-19. Vogrich is giving Michigan another big boost in the first half — picked up a nice layup in transition and then hit a three, both of Morris assists. Morris already has 7 dimes.

Michigan leads by 10 at the break 45-35. We haven’t seen a whole lot of shootouts this year but this one qualifies. Michigan scoring 1.5 points per possession and Bryant at 1.16 points per trip. Michigan has shot the ball well (65 eFG%) and have only turned the ball over once.

As Casey, CO stated, Bryant is 7-10 from three which is why they are still in the game.

I like how Michigan seems to be taking the open shot and we’re hitting. With Bryant it’s just someone jacking a three and they’re getting lucky that they all seem to fall. Some of theirs are in their offense, but we seem to be working within our offense for our threes. Just my take.

Morris has 14 points, 12 ast, and 6 rebounds with 7 minutes left. Michigan offense is still rolling but Bryant’s offense hasn’t slowed down much, it’s 70-57 with 7 mins left.

not much you can do on D when teams just make shots. Good offense always beats good defense in basketball.

Agreed. I thought our D was fine, Bryant simply was on fire. If they shoot a more normal 3 pt%, then its an easy 20 point win.

Can’t wait for the Purdue game. A win sets the tone for the whole B10 season.

did you watch the game tonight? That was a clinic on how to dismantle a 2-3 zone. We got wide open threes, layups off of set plays, and wide open high post jump shots. Plus for good measure we pushed it in transition a couple time to beat the zone down then court. This team has had problems with zone in the past, but tonight was not an example of that by any stretch.
