Trey Burke Signs Letter of Intent

Dylan Burkhardt

Trey Burke signed his national letter of intent today and is the first official member of Michigan’s class of 2011. Southfield guard Carlton Brundidge is expected to sign his LOI shortly as well.

Here are Beilein’s comments on Trey Burke:

“In Trey Burke we are adding a proven winner and floor general to our basketball program,” said Beilein. “He combines a competitive spirit, quickness and poise on the court to provide leadership, and his skill set allows him to impact the game as a passer, a scorer and a shooter.”

Trey is vastly underrated imo. New site looks great.

I’m looking forward to having Trey and Carlton on the team next year. Having more guys that can create a shot for themselves and for others will help quite a bit.

Nice job on the redesign, Dylan.

Gotta love his whole family wearing Michigan colors.

Its great to have two signees in TB and CB, excited to be Wolverines. No offense to Amir Williams but his exit interview following his trip to Ann Arbor wasn’t very encouraging, maybe I’m wrong. Hopefully Morgan, McLimans and Horford keep improving and we can survive the next three years with those three and we add another Big man in 2012.

Site is MUCH easier for old guys like me to read. Good work. Re: Trey, it’s great to see all that maize and blue being worn in Columbus.
