Video: Carlton Brundidge 2010 Playoff Highlights

Here’s another extensive (10 minute plus) video of Carlton Brundidge from his junior year of high school. Temofe Anyameluna put this video together and he also put together a video of Brundidge’s regular season that we posted earlier. Brundidge had a terrific run as he led Southfield to the Class A state semifinals where they eventually lost to Ann Arbor Huron.

I saw Brundidge standing across a field. I’m 6 foot even and I estimate that he was about 50 yards away. I didn’t have a chance to catch him before he left but I went over to where he was standing, which happened to be next to a tree. I examined the tree closely and got out my trusty tape-measure. The tree’s first branch was exactly 6’3″ off the ground. When I saw him from 50 yards it seemed like he was almost the same height as the branch. But then I remembered that the curvature of the earth may have played a role here and made my vision a little off. Or perhaps he was standing a little in front of it.

Anyway, so that’s my eye witness report. Take it for what it’s worth.

Can the season please start so we can stop debating player size and focus on actual basketball? I hate this time of year, it is so slow news-wise.

Yeah definitely been slow. Enough with the player height arguments :-)

We’re working on getting some recruiting interviews and trying to start coming up with some preseason stuff. Apologies for how slow it’s been.

Tape Measuring a tree to see how tall Carlton Brundidge is…wow. Not sure what to say about that. Can’t wait til he’s wearing maize and blue though!

    Polisci, pretty funny stuff.

I also just want to see this season get underway although football has been entertaining to this point.

I heard Brundidge was in New York this weekend to attend his father Hall of Fame induction for Football and Basketball. I went to http://www.goArmysports.com and clicked on the “Inside Athletics” and then clicked on Hall of Fame 2010 Photo Gallery. Bobby Knight was inducted in 2008 and Mike Kryzezewski (Duke) was inducted last year. Interesting bloodline. His dad played for Coach K.

    Nice find Doyl!

Clennie was a 6-4 PF/WR and sounds like he was a stud on the court and the field!

Jblair youre right Clennie was a incredible athlete !
Where do u think little cbrunn gets it from !
I hope all the big ten gets a small taste of his genes when he arrives next year…….. P.S. I hope coach Rod doesnt see him play because he will definetly want him to suit up as a defensive back!
