Part 2 started off as a TH JR highlight reel. Kid has a chance to be special.

  • FL Wolve

JMO, but the two best players on this team for this season are going to be Darius Morris and Timmy Hardaway. Hardaway may be working himself into the starting lineup.

  • Adam

    2 things that stood out..

    1. Hardaway looked really impressive..

    2. It’s no wonder Ben Cronin had to hang up the shoes… he has an extreme limp even still! Best wishes to the kid in his future health

    Where are the interior buckets?!

It was not a charge on Hardaway but Eso doing some great work out there-I think he will play.

  • Dirtgrain

Ditto on the best wished to Cronin. It’s cool that he is still having a role with the team.

  • Brad

definitely enjoying what I am seeing from Hardaway so far, but it is early…still, liking the athleticism he shows, and it seems he and Darius are connecting pretty well, especially on the fast break…

  • gpsimms

I find the opening seconds of the first video kind of hilarious/awful. Morris creating something on the run, dishing to Novak for a uncontested layup. People want to cheer for Novak so bad, because he’s a great kid and a hard worker and all that. But it looks like he’s picking up right where he left off when it comes to offensive skills.

  • gpsimms

oops, and then forgot Vogrich looking soft after that, too. Eso looks good though.

  • GregGoBlue

    My impressions:

-I am unimpressed with Jordan Morgan’s defense/defensive rebounding.

-Agreed with the above comments: Tim Hardaway has a nice stroke and is effective with the ball in his hands. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him getting minutes at the 2 or 3 this season.

    -Eso Akunne: 2 for 2 on 3’s.

-Love Darius’s hustle and aggression on the break.

  • aMaized

Awesome work Dylan & Joe – looking forward to the season!

  • Brian W

Cool videos… Hardaway should be a spark whenever he plays. His reaction after the charge reminded me of his dad. Funny… Nice to see them trying to feed Blake in the post a little… It looked like Vogrich was more active with the backdoor cuts, but yeah, his defense still needs some work.

  • Ragin55

Vogrich looks like he has put on a lot of weight and is moving well out there he should be able to hit some shots for us this year and Douglass looks like he has worked hard to perfect his jumper

  • fresh

@ greggoblue…..im a little baffled by the impression of jordan morgan not being impressive on defense….. unless you are looking at video other than the 2 posted i dont see any body taking him on and scoring or him giving up anything in this footage, idk where that observation is coming from

  • Adam

I kind of agree on the Vogrich thoughts.. his defense still looked weak and he was playing a little soft.. I am very disappointed bcuz I was hoping he would be ready for a big role this year. Hope he turns the corner and learns to get down and dirty.
