A Quick Update with Malik London

on

Malik London is an athletic shotblocker in the class of 2012 from Chillicothe, Ohio who has already drawn a lot of high major interest. London was in action at the Great Lakes Classic with his Ohio Basketball Club AAU team and I caught up with him for a quick interview.

Was Matt Costello, the 6-9, rising Junior, there ? Did he give any indication if U-M was involved with him ? There are enough little guys guys to go around for the next few years, Costello is the type of difference maker we need. Go Blue !!!

One more thing U-M new assistant Bacari Alexander is a tweeting machine. This man is full of enthusiasim and is the type of Ambassador this program needs. Mike Jackson might be doing it behind the scenes but I think U-M needs more assistant coaches like Bacari out there shaking hands and kissing babies. Heck– Coach Jackson doesn't even have a U-M emblem or his picture on his twitter account.

Recruiting is all about attention to detail and out-working the competition, Coach Alexander impresses me, its time for Coach Jackson and Coach Meyer to step-up and compete. Go Blue !!!!

  • Costello missed Friday/Sat AM due to a track meet and that's when Joe was there. Costello is definitely a difference maker and someone that we want to try to catch up with.
