Video: Marshall Plumlee at Spiece Run-N-Slam

This is video of Marshall Plumlee from Indiana Elite games versus Spiece Mo-Kan, All Ohio Red, Meanstreets (semis), and St. Louis Gameface (finals). YouTube nixed the music so I’ll try to upload a version with sound later. Video of Ferrell and Zeller will also be posted shortly.

i was pleasantly surprised by the video……….he seems a bit raw and almost like he is in fast forward when shooting and doing his moves around the basket area from this video clip, however he seemed extremely willing and capable of not only dribbling but beating people off the dribble and at almost 7 ft that was a nice surprise that i didnt expect………..looks to be great at blocking and with added weight will be a very good rebounder………..very athletic and with a little more time will be great……….sam webb and others have been a bit down on plumlee's offense compared to other recruits but this kid looked pretty freaking good here………….definitely would be a great pick up

Anyways, I agree with the “fast forward” comment… There are times when he rushes things on offense (shooting, passing, offensive moves) and just gets out of control. That being said his size alone would allow him to be an immediate impact defender while he continues to develop on offense.

Obviously needs more muscle but I agree, there is a lot to like.

It looks like he runs the floor pretty well and doesn't plod down the court. He looked better than he did in the ESPN Rise clips from a few weeks ago. Needs to finish a little better, but I'd take him for sure.

Zeller is #40 in the video, right? It looked like him. Both big guys looked unselfish and willing to give it up for a better shot.

Why is it that when I watch him play from the video, I keep thinking I am watching David Cone play basketball?

FYI: The rumors around Indiana (at least) are that Marshall wants to come back home for his last year of HS bball.

Looking at his list – we're not THAT far from “home” for him. Actually, probably just about as close as IU and not much farther than Purdue.

Just something interesting if it happens…

I actually think Plumlee looks pretty good, unlike DJ Pauly D, who keeps popping up on U-M hoops and looking like the douche bag that he is.
