The finish was on NBC at least. Great game for sure. Funny how you can get so emotionally invested in a team that you’ve only seen play together twice before last night, but I was totally into it. Great goal by Kesler to finish it off and represent Livonia.

one of the best hockey games I have ever seen. Unreal skill plays, hard hits all over, terrific saves, end to end action. Glad I dvr’d that so I can rewatch tomorrow night. Its too bad that it was on msnbc so a lot of nonhockey fans probably did not see it.

This is going to sound and be defeatist, but bring on the CBI. If you look at the list of teams likely to be in the NIT, that’s a two game proposition at most for UM. I always hated my friends who wanted to tank the second game of a Gus Macker if you lost the first to make the Toilet Bowl, but they may as well play the CBI. This team needs all the game time possible, so bring on the CBI. I’d say play Morris 35 minutes a game and play Vogrich 25 and give them a chance to get it together.
