True, I can buy that Dylan. But Creighton has played a few more games, and their numbers aren't super high either. I hardly think UofM will be "gassed". They may or may not be forced to play faster than they are comfortable with...I don't know. They seemed pretty comfortable against Northern Michigan in a transition game.

Kenpom shows UofM plays a faster tempo than Creighton by 4 posessions a game. In addition to being homers, theseCreighton pot-stirrers seem to be misinformed.

It's been awhile since I've replied on this board, but I figured I should put in my two-cents. I think our guards' shooting woes continue, but Manny and Peedi put the team on their backs and take us to victory. We will consistently hold a 6-8 point lead, with Creighton making one final run in the last 10 minutes, but to no avail!

Michigan 70
Creighton 60

I just don't see who on Creighton's team can defend Peedi in the post or stop Manny's penetration. They can throw any press/zone they want at us, but it is not going to stop the Big Ten's best dynamic duo.

I agree on the zags giddings...we'll see how they look in the championship, but they looked good in two games against wiscy and sparty so far.

Here's some good stuff from rivals: http://collegebasketball.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1020884

Manny Harris moves up to #1 shooting guard on their board. Deshawn Sims comes in as the 15th PF and Beilein ranks as the #13 coach. Evan Turner and Robbie Hummel are #1 and #2, respectively, at the SF position. Some Big Ten respect.

Wisconsin representing the Big Ten well with wins over the Pac-10 (Arizona) and ACC (Maryland). I think Gonzaga (their only loss in Maui) is for real...

OK I retract my previous sarcasm.

Now I am stuck at my in-laws for T-giving, and this game can't come fast enough.

I love it how 1 Creighton fan comes to a Michigan Basketball website and use 5 different names to try and create some drama. This game may be close BUT michigan will come out on top, if not then you will have to question what JB is talking about when he says "we will be prepared, and will get better" in his press conference after the last performance. 74-68 michigan wins with manny and sims having good showing. Go Blue!!!

OK, a couple points. As for HBU getting blown out (again) by 31 points, you probably didn't notice that Mario Flaherty, who put up a double-double against us, didn't play.

As for Creighton, tommymack, don't you think that it is a disadvantage to be playing 10, 11, 12 guys? That basically means that, while you might have some good talent, no one is clearly better than the others, and overall, that would point to being an average team. Beilein always likes to talk about how he would like to have a solid 8, maybe 9 man rotation. That way, you have enough guys so you won't get tired, but you also have players that are clearly better than the ones on the bench. I just don't see how this is such a huge advantage for you.

Michigan 68, Creighton 57

Good luck against a team that plays defense.
