Should we start to worry about Manny’s hamstring? I know that JB is going to be as safe as possible before the season starts because there’s no need to test it too much, but for some reason I get the feeling that this could be a chronic thing. He’s had the injury for at least 3-4 weeks now and hasn’t played in any games or anything that would aggravate it (besides Michigan Madness).

I don’t wanna jinx it or anything, and I ultimately think he’ll be fine, at least in time for the Old Spice Classic, but is anyone else concerned?

A couple of things: 1. I don’t think Kearney’s decision has any effect on Zeigler’s decision unless Kearney chooses Michigan, then we wouldn’t have a place for Zeigler, but I don’t see this happening. IMO, I don’t think State has had a good chance of landing Zeigler in a while now, but we’ll see what happens.

As for the scrimmage, a kid at the Maize Rage meeting said that he had a friend that is a manager for EMU. He said that he told him that Manny didn’t play much due to his hammy, Novak was cold, Cronin shot “about 5 threes”, and Vogrich was apparently making it rain. That’s all the info that he had, other than saying they had two 20-minute scrimmages.

Kearney going to MSU will have really no impact on us getting Zeigler. MSU is not getting Zeigler at this point. They just got a HUGE recruit in Adreian Payne, and with him have no more room on their roster. And as was previously said, Kearney going to State is a big repercussion from Brundidge coming to Michigan.
