On the subject of LLP's improvement: during the scrimmage, I was really impressed with his defense on Darius. He really shadowed the quick, athletic Morris, and that to me was promising. From what I've read, it seems like LLP has really made a commitment to improving on the defensive end, and if Friday was any indication, it seems like he might develop into a very capable perimeter defender.

I won't be surprised either Kenny. He has a lot of length, and if Gibson isn't getting it done I think you go to McLimans.

Won't be surprised if McLimans breaks into rotation this year, I think that he will be a solid defender. Wright might get chance to back-up Manny but Novak can play 3 too as his role at 4 to be reduced. Beilein definitely has more cards in his hands this year.

Peedi didn't do much of anything. Just basic dunks and he missed one.

Manny sat out because I think he's nursing an injury (precautionary) and Beilein didn't want him trying anything over the top.

Oh, man. I can't believe what I just saw. That was total redemption for the missed dunk against Savannah State. You can tell he wanted that. Weak performance from Peedi? Any word on why Manny sat out the contest? I would have thought he could put on a show.

I see a LLP, Stu, Harris, Novak, Sims starting lineup. Sims can shift to the four, but I think we start like this. I also think that LLP and Stu can handle the guard duties, especially to start out, remembering that there is really no PG in this offense per say.

well, I guess you can figure Novak will be starting at the 4 then?

DSims at the 5 and Manny at the 3.

Backcourt can rotate with Morris, LLP, Stu, and Vogrich.

Frontcourt uses Wright, Gibson, and Cronin for their rotation.
