Beilein basically said they would play with players at other positions but DeShawn was very good at the five last year.

Glad to hear from Beilein on Cronin's status. As long as he can run that fast, the limpness doesn't bother me. And does Beilein hint that he would like to play Peedi some 4, seems pretty confident about Cronin contributing major minutes at 5. And Eso trying at point, that's an interesting development.

Just needed to type something here about being pumped, excited about Maui in the future, and thinking perhaps Morgan will be a redshirt. Fired up about my first two thoughts...

Great to hear about Cronin and Morgan. I was thinking Morgan might not come back until the conference season. If he's only a few weeks away, that seems to be sooner than some (me) thought! Obviously he won't be back at 100%. But Delvon Roe for example was a good contributer for MSU last year after knee surgery and he was only 70-80%. If Jordan can play half as good as Roe, that gives another big body.

and Cronin...I harped about his lack of speed...but hell...I can't run a sub 6:00 mile. Kudos to him. I'm getting excited for the season to begin.

Dylan, were you there? Any insight on the hoop skills of the media? I saw Mike Rothstein swinging the lumber in Iowa, wondering if he has any range.
