Defensive rebounding. Does that somehow take into account shooting percentage by the offense? In other words, if the other team is able to make 90% of its shots (over smaller players, e.g.), the fact that the defense rebounds 100% of the misses would be a little misleading, I would think.

Michigan 13th best program of all time according to Jeff Sagarin! Decade by decade: 10th in the 40s, 37th in 60s, 11th in 70s, 13th in 80s, 12th in 90s, not ranked in top 40 in the 50s and 2000s. Obviously, there are some issues with how he ranks teams (such as a title win being equal to a first round win), but still it is a tribute to how solid this program has been over the years. And its great to know that we are headed back to the top under Beilein.
