encouraging to hear that from Webb…

How accurate has Sam Webb been in his past predictions? I only ask this because he seems like the overly optimistic type, but I could be way off base. Regardless, any news like this is good news. I wish there was something Beilein could do that would put one of these guys over the top. I don’t like all the extra visits they are taking. Cmon, Z, you know you want to wear the Maize uni baby!

  • I Love John Beilein

i’m scared brundidge will end up at state. i’d love to have him in our system, his penetration would create a lot for our offense. he can shoot too.

Has Trey Z. set a timetable for committing? I am just interested to see how this plays out, I am afraid we are going to lose out on Prather and Trey the longer this plays out. I know Prather is coming for a visit but I don’t think he is leaning this way, I think we are more Plan D after UNC, Memphis…etc

its up to these kids now……….jb has recruited greats players and recruited them hard…….if they cant see that michigan is going to be a great place for them, then that is their decision and there is nothing that can be done about it……….its just a waiting game from here on out

  • W3

Webb is on point most of the time….he dosent get optimistic if there is nothing to be optimistic about

  • Erik

JayRich, I think Trey is supposed to narrow his list in the fall. He’s really taking his time.

  • TotalReality

Webb’s accuracy has generally been terrible with basketball.

  • SteinerBlue

JayRich, I believe that UNC (and possibly Memphis??) have cooled on Prather to focus on other recruits, FWIW.

Just got posted on Mgoboard. You can see why Beilein likes Hardaway. Quick release, long, athletic. Even if he doesn’t have a huge upside (and I’m not saying he doesn’t) he is definitely a perfect fit for the offense.

  • Tweeter

Commented on Mgoblog about the Hardaway video – I see three areas for him to work on – defense, ball handling and finishing at the rim. But I love how smooth he is.

On another note, I was looking for an Evan Metrics video and ran across this little show called “face the facts.” Its all about Boston Red Sox baseball, but with highschoolers in a round table type setting. Apparently Evan was a guest on the show. This has nothing to do with his basketball skills but I found it amusing none the less. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qgxx3M8j_BM
