Glad to see Manny was not suspended further by the BIG TEN!
Look forward to the return to Ann Arbor for Kramer and the BOILERS!
It should be fun to see the fans get all over him!

Ok, I agree. Your point is valid. I did not see that he had a gash under his eye. It would be possible to break your nose on the floor, but I agree that he didn't gash his nose on the floor. Based on the cut Manny must have hit him with the elbow. You are right.

So you are saying an elbow will cause a 200 pound person to go flying?
Isn't it obvious that he saw it coming and tried in vane to get out of the way?
Why did he have a gash on the side of his nose just below his eye?
It would be physically impossible to gash the side of your nose on the floor as you claim.
Where is the cut on his forehead?

Did I say the mask was a part of a scam? Did I not say that he broke his nose? I just think that he breaks it when he hits the floor, which is entirely possible based on the replay. He falls to his left and fractured it when he hit the floor. Manny hitting him in the forehead makes much more sense if you look at the video. It would be very unlikely that he falls to his left after being hit from that direction.

He got hit on the bridge of the nose causing 2 fractures. I am not sure how the tip of the elbow hitting the near the tip of his nose is supposed to drive him back and to the left.....to quote JFK.
Have you not seen the replays? Do you think he wears the mask as part of the scam to get Manny thrown out? Do you think he is having surgery just to keep it going?

The play makes a lot more sense if Manny hit Kramer in the forehead. That would explain how Kramer falls to his left after being hit from the left side. I think Manny hit Kramer in the forehead knocked him backwards and Kramer breaks his nose on the floor from the fall. I think this probably what happened based on the video and pictures of the incident. Rich this is the explanation that I think you should consider.

Purdue7: No one is trying to say Kramer's nose doesn't hurt. People are saying it shouldn't be a flagrant because it was a basketball play. There was nothing out of the ordinary besides the injury, and the injury doesn't justify a flagrant foul.

Junior guard Chris Kramer has a deviated nasal septum and a severely depressed nasal bone fracture as a result of being struck by Michigan's Manny Harris during Purdue's victory on Saturday.

Dr. Peter J. Hillsamer, a Lafayette-based otolaryngologist, will repair the nasal bone fracture during surgery Wednesday. A second procedure to repair the septum likely will be performed after the season.

Kramer will wear a protective mask for the next three weeks but will continue to play.

Coach Matt Painter said Monday that point guard Lewis Jackson had not yet been cleared to play against Ohio State after suffering a concussion in the Jan. 27 victory at Wisconsin.

Most people aren't saying Kramer is faking it. That is not the issue. The issue is the ejection.
