Agree on the officiating… at least in our games, I thought that Wisco and Illinois got a lot of calls at Crisler, and we got a lot of calls tonight. Surprising.

That play at the end by Lee looked pretty clean to me. Crean ought to be questioning why his players can’t execute a simple 2-1 fast break or have the presence of mind to pull it out and work the clock. He’s right about one thing, though. Indiana used to get some outrageous calls in their favor at home and this game seemed pretty evenly called to me. Actually, throughout the Big 10 homecourt advantage used to include a lot of beneficial officiating – it was just worst in Bloomington. I haven’t noticed that as much this year. Anyone else?

I’m really happy for him. He’s one of the most vocal players I’ve ever seen on the bench, almost like another coach.

What a coaching substitution just to put CJ in there…..he hasn’t been playing much, especially down the stretch…..what a night for him.

CJ was huge and has definitely cemented himself as my favorite player…both threes and that strip, which looked clean to me, were big time.

But all in all, let’s just forget about this game and just chalk it up as another one in the win column.

In Hoosier land, Crean is taking any heat away from the players by gone nutso on the refs in the presser…….thats how the fanbase defended/justified all the meltdowns and flippant antics of Knight.

I just watched the highlights and postgame reaction on BTN. Crean whined about the officials not calling a foul with 35 seconds left in regulation. Good coach, but he’s as whiny as his mentor (Izzo).

Crean really went after the refs in his postgame comments for not calling at foul on CJ’s fast break steal with 30 seconds left. Said that “most teams, most years, most times would have been on the foul line after that fast break… but I guess tradition won’t do it, history won’t do it, we’re Indiana and Indiana has to do it themselves” or something.

I’m just surprised nobody has seen a hoops coach give a quick hand shake after a game before……sheesh happens all the time, its not a social.

When you’re trying to get your first NCAA bid in over a decade, every win is a big one.

Keep on improving, and winning, and it will leave the comittee no doubt come selection day.
