UCLA was off their game and the 1-3-1 was amazing. They only scored a little more than fifty. And to think we've given up about 40 in the first half the last two games...

The final pass from Wright to Sims was a thing of beauty. It helped that UCLA was off their game that day.

Jay, I was thinking about how we beat UCLA the other day as well. We had no LLP, Wright was getting a lot of minutes, and Novak was not even a factor yet. Very interesting.

Good post Ken, but I do think Jordan Morgan will be very good for UM. He's got a lot more skill/athleticism than his description as a "big body/banger" belies. I'm excited about what Beilein will do with him.

JB is obviously an excellent x's and o's coach, but I just can't get over his ability to scout. That is going to always ensure we have valuable recruiting classes, with or without 4+ star kids. I mean it absolutely boggles the mind that Michigan was the only school to offer Novak a scholarship. Really? Not even a school like Indiana State offered him? They must be kicking themselves now. The guy is like Dugan Fife with more fight and strength. He was the third leading scorer in Indiana, so how did he go under the radar and what were schools so worried about? He could be a good sized 2 guard for a lot of schools. I'm even pretty sure that he would get meaningful minutes for most of the top 10 teams in the nation. I think Vogrich is going to be another 3 star gem and possibly even JMo, but less likely.
