I’m interested in that too Jay. You’ve got Grady steadily improving, and we have him for two more years. You’ve got LLP in the mix and this is only his freshman year technically. You’ve got Morris, Vogrich, Novak, and Stu as well. Wow. What are we going to do with all these guards? I really don’t know. Nice problem to have. No offense to C.J and Dave because I’ve been really proud of them, but our days of seeing walk-ins get substantial minutes are over.

Coming into this season, I expected Darius would start next year. Now, I’m not so sure. Will be interesting to see how JB deals with deep roster next season.

Good call about LLP, Ken. I’ve just seen highlights of LLP and there could definitely be some similarities there. Biggest difference is Darius has to be 3 inches taller and has long arms. I would also guess that Darius is more of a true point in looking to make the great pass and set his teammates up. LLP may have a more consistent mid-range shot.

Excellent Entry. Thank you very much for the coverage.
I’m also very excited to get Darius to AA. Big athletic guards cause so many problems for defenses. And I also like your point about his fitting into the 1-3-1 with his quicks and long limbs he’s bound to cause turnovers. I really like him on the fast-break. If you’ve seen his videos on Scout you know he has tremendous vision and the ability to create easy shots for his teammates. Thanks again for going out and doing a little homework for all of us out here in the midwest.
