I will also say that I'm very excited about next year.
here would be the most likely starting lineup if manny stays around
1-Morris
2-LLP
3-Manny
4-Deshawn
5-Gibson
I really like this. WIth players like vogich, stu coming off the bench for shooting.
I think michigan has an OKAY shot at making the big dance this year, but i wouldnt put anything on it. Next year though, I would put alot on it!

LLP will probably be eligible the 20th.

Class ends around the 13th but exams won't be over yet. I don't think he can play until his grades are in. So it should be at the Palace on the 20th when he makes his debut.

question not reguarding this thread. I know LLP is eligible right after the first semester. But will that be for the eastern Michigan game on the 13th, or the oakland game on the 20th? I hope the get him in the 13th becasue that will give them a good 4 games before their first big 10 game (against wisconsin on the 31st.)

Yeah, I guess I didn't realize that his passing was so sick. He looks like he'll be a better ballhandler and passer than Manny but won't have the scoring ability that Manny has. Manny can just muscle through the lane and get quality shots off like I have never seen. He just has great use of his body. The two should complement one another nicely. I will say this though. It's kind of weird not having anybody that can dunk. Even over the last awful 10 years we have at least had somebody like Petway to throw one down now and again. Sims is probably our closest thing, and he's not even a dunker. He always just puts it off the glass. I really don't care about dunking if we're winning, but it's always nice to have some rim-rockin going on.

Darius is going to take quite a bit of pressure off of Manny in the backcourt. I think the main question is how UM's big men commits will develop for the Wolverines.

That's great to hear Justin. Michigan fans can't wait to see him in the Maize and Blue. Put him on the court with Manny, Laval Lucas-Perry, and DeShawn Sims and we can make some noise.

Hey guys, I totally agree D.Morris deserves national pub; when I saw him play over the summer he easily held the court at the pangos all american camp. John Wall was there but I personally think Darius performed a bit better at that particular camp. Congrats to Michigan for landing Darius, every time I've spoken with him, he struck me as an extremely intelligent, funny guy.
