U-M to Host Garden Party

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The University of Michigan men’s basketball team will hold the “Garden Party” on Saturday, Nov. 15, at Crisler Arena 15 minutes after the completion of U-M’s noon football game against Northwestern.

Admission to the “Garden Party” will be free of charge and fans can begin entering Crisler Arena through gates B and C from inside Michigan Stadium at the start of the fourth quarter. Fans will be able to observe the Wolverines practice with the football game broadcast without sound on the Crisler Arena JumboTron. All other entrances of Crisler Arena will open at the conclusion of the football game against the Wildcats.

Following the 25-minute scrimmage, the Wolverines will be available on the floor for autographs and photograph opportunities for 30 minutes. Throughout the night, ticket giveaways and raffle prizes will be announced for fans in attendance.

The “Garden Party” will serve as a send-off for the Wolverines, who will be traveling to New York City for the semifinals of the 2K Sports Classic benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer at Madison Square Garden. U-M will face the winner of the Los Angeles Regional on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 9 p.m. on ESPN2.
