First off Meredith Morgan posted this update on Jordan at NBPA Camp:

Ok, this is what I have now. Jordan plays with Franklin, whom he said is very good. He says they were hooking up quite regularly and that Franklin was impressed that Jordan caught his passes inside and converted. He says he has talked to both Franklin and Morris about what he likes about Michigan and encouraged them to talk more to the staff. Also, Jordan says he is playing better every game and is really enjoying himself. By the way, if you didn’t see it elsewhere, Morris was “traded” off the team with Jordan and Franklin, but Morris is still Jordan’s roommate.

Second, a recruiting update on Darius Morris from Rivals:

Darius Morris has some new schools in pursuit of him. In the wake of Abdul Gaddy‘s decommitment from Arizona, the Wildcats are coming on strong according to Morris. He also noted that Stanford has a scholarship for him if he is accepted into school. Morris recently visited the campus and met with new head coach Johnny Dawkins. Marquette has extended an offer as well.

Finally, Rivals also has a positive post on Darius, JC and Jordan for all of you premium subscribers. Hooray for Comcast and Big Ten Network, and Lacy has the latest on the practice facility.

  • doogie

Has to be a good sign that he has visited the stanford campus and michigan is supposedly still in very strong position. lets get him on campus and convince this kid michigan is the place for him.

    from espn

“Morris has good quickness and a decent handle, which makes him a very good penetrator. He has good vision and adeptly drives to the rim and dishes to an open teammate in the paint or on the perimeter for shot. Morris really excels on the defensive end, keeping opposing point guards from getting into a comfort zone due to his willingness to pressure the ball at 94 feet. He also plays passing lanes very well for steals.”

also good point jb must be doing something right because we are clearly still in the mix
