That’s a great story, I hope he achieves everything he wants and more in not just a great education but basketball as well. I was looking at his Mgoblue profile and it says he was born in 84 is that correct? Why is he so old for being just a freshmen? That would make him a 24 yr old first year student. Is that a typo?

I have seen this kid play about 6 or 7 times in the past 2 years. One thing that this kid can do on the D1 level, and even will be successful at it in the Big Ten is play defense and pass. He may not be a D1 shooter, but believe me, he will be very valuable defensive player, whether it is in practice or in the games. He doesnt make many turnovers. He is a great addition to this basketball team. Also, dont think for one second that this kid is just another walk on, and Beilein didnt put time in to getting this kid. He is a very solid player, and a very smart player who is just great to have on this team.

wow, those rankings are kinda messed up, i have played against some of those kids as recently as today and they are way messed up, but im not saying the top of each aren’t right, as they can evaluate those guys better, as for corey, i hope he does well for us, maybe sometime in the future he will get some PT

Any time we can bring in a good kid with great work ethic then it is an improvement to the team and one that could bloom into a potential role player down the road. Hopefully his studies stay the focal point of his life, and any help he can give to the basketball team is just a bonus.
